Who you're dealing with

Roadshow is operated by 1001687878 Ontario Inc., doing business as Roadshow, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means you or the act you're acting for. You need to be the age of majority where you live to enter this agreement.

What you own, and what we may do with it

Your content stays yours. Your music, words, images, video and fan list belong to you. Nothing here transfers ownership.

You give us permission to store, copy, adapt and display your content only as far as it takes to run the service: hosting it, resizing an image, generating your press kit, publishing your site, backing it up. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in ordinary backups that age out.

If you send us feedback or a feature idea, we can act on it without owing you anything for it.

You must have the rights to what you upload

This is the clause that matters most for musicians. By uploading, you confirm you hold the rights — or have permission — for:

• the recordings and songs you upload, including any samples in them;
• the photographs you use, including the photographer's permission and the consent of people who appear in them;
• any logo, artwork or name you present as yours.

Don't impersonate another act, and don't use Roadshow for anything illegal, hateful, or built to deceive. If someone tells us your content infringes their rights, we may remove it or suspend a site while we look into it.

What the AI writes, and who's responsible

Roadshow generates text and design suggestions. We don't claim ownership of what it produces for you, and we can't promise it's unique — someone else may receive something similar.

You are responsible for what your site says.Read it before you publish. An AI can write a confident sentence that isn't true — an award you didn't win, a venue you haven't played — and a claim like that on your own site is your problem, not the software's.

Credits

AI changes cost credits; editing by hand is free and unlimited. One credit is spent per AI change that's actually applied. If a change doesn't land and you ask again, the retry is free — you shouldn't pay twice for one request. Credits included with a plan are for that period and don't carry over; purchased top-ups don't expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and aren't transferable or refundable once spent.

Plans, payment and cancelling

Free trials are exactly that: no card, no automatic charge. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renew until you cancel. Prices can change, but not mid-term — we'll give you notice before a renewal at a new price.

Cancel any time from your account. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for; we don't give partial refunds for an unused part of a term, except where consumer law requires it. If something went genuinely wrong, email us — we'd rather sort it out than argue.

If a payment fails, we may pause AI features and eventually unpublish your site. We won't delete your content without telling you first, and your fan list stays exportable.

Invoicing: what it is and isn't

The invoicing feature creates, sends and tracks invoices. That's it — and the limits are worth stating plainly:

• We never handle your gig money.Your client pays you directly. We take no percentage, and we can't chase a payment for you.
• “Paid” means you said so. Marking an invoice paid is your record-keeping, not a confirmation from a bank.
• We are not your accountant.The year-end summary is a convenience built from the invoices you entered. It isn't a financial statement, it doesn't include your expenses, and it isn't tax advice. Whether you should charge GST/HST, and at what rate, is between you, your accountant and the CRA.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of every invoice you send, and for keeping your own records as the law requires.

Custom domains

On plans that support it you can point your own domain at your site. You buy and keep that domain — we don't register it, own it, or renew it. If it expires, your site stops resolving there, and that's outside our control.

Fair use of the service

Don't try to break the service, get around limits, resell it as your own, scrape it, or use it to store files unrelated to a music site. AI endpoints are rate-limited; if usage is extreme enough to threaten the service for everyone else, we may throttle it and will talk to you.

Uptime and support

We aim to keep Roadshow running and available, but we don't offer a guaranteed uptime figure — anyone who tells you they do at this price is overpromising. Support is by email at support@roadshow.fm, usually answered within a day.

Ending the agreement

You can stop and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts the service or other people at risk. Except in clear-cut cases like fraud or illegal content, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as is. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will suit your purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Roadshow is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost bookings, lost revenue, or lost data.

Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell account holders by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Roadshow after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction — without limiting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
