Built for people who play for a living.
Roadshow started from a small, annoying observation: a venue asks for a website and a press kit before they will book you, and most working acts have neither. They have a social profile they do not own, on a platform that decides who sees it.
The tools that could fix that were built for shops and portfolios. They hand a musician a blank canvas and a drag-and-drop editor, and what comes out looks like an evening was lost to it. Meanwhile the actual job — sounding good, getting booked, getting paid — was still waiting.
So Roadshow does the site by asking you about your act, and then keeps going into the unglamorous parts nobody else joins up: the press kit a promoter wants, the mailing list you own rather than rent, the invoice after the gig, and a record of which venues you pitched and who replied.
What we will not do
- Take a cut of your gig money. Invoices go from you to the venue. The payment never passes through us and we take no percentage of it.
- Hold your work hostage. Your words, photos, audio and video stay yours, and your fan mailing list is exportable whether or not you are paying. Stop subscribing and we keep the content rather than delete it.
- Sell or share your data.Or your fans'. What each service provider touches, and why, is listed in full on the privacy page.
- Charge you to stay online. The free tier is a complete working site, not a countdown to a paywall.

Roadshow is operated by 1001687878 Ontario Inc., doing business as Roadshow, in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It is a small operation, which is why one person reads every support message and why the changelog reads like someone wrote it rather than a release robot.
