Release notes

What's new

Everything we ship to Roadshow, with the date it went live. You're on 1.0, last updated August 8, 2026.

We started numbering releases in August 2026. Everything before that shipped continuously and is listed by the date it landed.

  1. Update

Fix a typo in your booking details

The act name and mailing address on your booking emails can be changed after you've saved them. Before this they could be entered once and never corrected, so a typo stayed in the footer of everything you sent.

  2. Update

Your site is in its own typeface again

Published sites were rendering in a plain fallback font instead of the lettering chosen for them — on your public address and on custom domains, though never in the editor preview, which is why it went unnoticed. Every published site now loads its own type. Nothing needs republishing; open your site and it will look right.

  3. Update

Hand a site to the artist who owns it

Built someone a site? You can now transfer it to their account — they take over the site, the press kit and the billing, and it leaves yours. They need a free account first, and you transfer to the address they signed up with.

  4. Update

    Follow-ups

Most replies come from the second email, not the first. Roadshow now tells you which venues have gone quiet, and writes you a shorter follow-up that doesn't repeat the pitch. It stops after two — persistence and pestering differ only in where they stop.

  5. Update

Booking outreach is free for everyone

The booking tracker is no longer part of a paid plan — every account gets it, including a free one. Track who you've pitched and what came back for as long as you like; invoicing and custom domains are still what a subscription is for.

  6. Update

    Import your contact list

Copy cells straight out of a spreadsheet, or paste a CSV, instead of typing venues in one at a time. We'll read your column names if the first row has them, and show you what we found before anything is saved.

  7. 1.0#

    Booking outreach

Keep track of the venues and promoters you've pitched. Roadshow writes the email and carries your site and press kit into it; you send it from your own inbox, so the reply comes straight back to you.

    • A contact list with sent, replied, booked and declined
    • A written pitch that links to your site, ready to open in your own email app
    • Your mailing address and an opt-out line added for you, because a booking email legally needs both
    • Included with Solo and Pro
  8. Update

Your website address is on your press kit

The press kit knew everything about you except where to find you. Your site's address now appears on the cover, in the contact bar, on the closing page and in the footer — so when a promoter forwards the PDF, the site travels with it.

  9. Update

    Photos open full screen

Gallery tiles crop to keep the grid tidy, which meant no page ever showed a whole photograph. Clicking one now opens it uncropped. Tour date rows also stopped crowding their Tickets button against the edge.

  10. Update

    Logo walls and bulk uploads

For acts who've played for people worth naming: a Clients section that shows logos at full width without cropping them, in fixed tiles or at their natural sizes. Add a whole folder of images at once instead of one at a time, and Photos, Clients and Press can now go in your navigation.

  11. Update

    Guides

Plain-language answers to the things artists actually ask — what a press kit needs, what to charge, how to get booked.

  12. Update

    Partner program

Agencies and studios can refer artists, who get a discount, and earn on anyone who subscribes.

  13. Update

    Gig invoicing

Invoice a venue, mark it paid when the money lands, and hand your accountant a year-end summary. Branded with your own logo and colours, with optional GST/HST. Roadshow takes no cut of what you earn.

  14. Update

    Press kits and custom domains

A downloadable press kit generated from your site, in your own colours and type — the thing a promoter asks for before they'll book you. It rebuilds itself whenever you edit the site. Pro accounts can also point their own domain at it.

  15. Update

    Roadshow opens

Describe your act in a sentence and get a real website — music, video, photos, tour dates, lineup and booking. Then change anything by asking for it in plain language, with no page builder to learn.
