Common questions
- What actually uses a credit?
- Only asking the AI to change something. Editing text, reordering sections, swapping a photo, changing colours by hand — all free and unlimited, on every plan including the trial. A credit is spent when an AI edit is applied, not when you ask a question.
- What happens when I run out of credits?
- Nothing breaks. Your site stays published and manual editing keeps working — only the AI pauses. You can top up 50 credits for $9 or 150 for $22, and top-ups never expire; they stack on top of whatever your plan gives you each month.
- Do I need a card to try it?
- No. The trial is 14 days with 20 AI credits and no card, and you can build and publish the whole site before deciding anything.
- Is the site really mine?
- Yes. Your words, photos, audio and video stay yours, and your mailing list belongs to you — you can export it. If you ever stop paying we do not take the content; ask and we will get it to you.
- What if I cancel?
- Your site stops being published and your content is kept, not deleted. If the only thing you want is to keep the site online, there is a $6/month option that does exactly that: site stays up, manual editing stays free, no AI credits.
- Can I use my own domain name?
- On Pro, yes — point yourband.com at your site and it becomes the real address. Trial and Solo publish on a roadshow.fm subdomain, which is a proper public URL you can put on a poster.
- How do I get the press kit?
- It generates itself from your site — bio, photos, tracklist, tour dates and booking contact as one PDF, and it updates when the site does. Download it from the editor and send it to a promoter.
- How does invoicing work?
- On Solo and Pro you can invoice a venue, send it, and mark it paid, then pull a year-end summary for your accountant. The money goes straight from the venue to you — we never touch it, and we take no cut of a gig fee.
- Are you reading my chat?
- The text of your conversation is not stored. It lives in your browser for the visit and is gone when you leave. We keep the cost and token count of each request so the service stays affordable, and nothing else.
- Why was I charged more than the price says?
- Prices are in US dollars. If your card is in Canadian dollars or anything else, your bank converts at its own rate and adds its own fee, so the amount on your statement is a little higher than the number on the pricing page.
- Something looks wrong on my site. Can it be undone?
- Yes. Every change is versioned — 14 days of history on the trial, 30 on Solo, 90 on Pro — so you can go back to how it was. If you cannot find the version you want, ask and we will dig it out.
